can anybody tell me if it’s a mess on the top, taking my wife on saturday to do a loop from Castleton, did it a while back and it was horrid.

Rained for ages last night, so i’d guess rather bad, but tbh, who plans their route depending on conditions 🙄

Just ride through the mud, more fun 🙂

Dunno but it’s pi$$ed it down every day for over 2 weeks now in Sheff so expect it to be less than dry.

Pop a short wheelie through all the boggy holes- its much quicker.

What richpips said, it’ll be horrendous. There’s been torrential showers here over the last 3 days, 20-30 mins at a time, then dry for half a day then rain again.

bear in mind crazy-legs is a well-known tart who hides under the bed whimpering when there are clouds…

I think of him more as a r**die with MTB pretensions…

Up there last night – puddles & mud.
I am about 4 miles away and it has rained a bit today but nothing really heavy

anyway, if you don’t like the mud, take the FP, it’s nicely laid to stone :o)

the only problem there is all the bleedin styles to climb over 🙁

Was really suprised how well the trails around ladybower (especially cutthroat bridge to winstone lee tor) have held up recently, the ground was still hard under the puddles rather than a boggy mess.
