    Actually, send them to Ottery St Marys in Dorset. They need some fuel to keep the barrels burning whilst they roll them down the hill.

    Given the proliferation of private fireworks, I have some sympathy with their position.

    Two gun dogs, neither gun shy nor timid but both traumatised by fireworks – really panicky, requiring medication in one case and a lot of TLC in the other (both).

    Personally, love fireworks, but need to have some balance.
