    Hi
I have just bought an anthem x 29 and have been playing with the rear shock, lots of different opinions about this but has anyone got an anthem that weighs in at 154lbs does a mix of riding who can tell me what they run theirs at.
    Thanks

There will be no real common setting for this bike as such. Just set it up as good as you can by feel. I think a good guide was to start with your weight in lbs swapped to PSI.

Yes that’s what I thought, still a bit spongy. I will put more air in, I like it a bit firmer for climbs.
    Thanks

I’m running my Enduro at 220 PSI if that helps as a guide. Linky to my same question a while back 🙂

I just put an rp23 on my heckler and find that it gets close to bottoming out all the time. To set the PSI the instructions are to set the shock to 1/4 of the full stroke when you are sat on the bike.

    so,

    1. sit on the bike and see where the rubber ring is pushed down.
    2. add/remove air to the shock until this is 1/4 the length of the stroke.

Feels firm enough to me but my last shock was a 5th element coil
