Off there in the Summer for the first time and have been doing the virtual tourist bit on Google Earth, there seems to be a wealth of tracks and forest type roads around the Western border of Andorra to Spain, North of La Seu d'Urgel and around the Val D'Aran. Can anyone vouch for this or recommend routes with some Singletrack? Found a 4×4 trail called Ruta del Contrabandistas which goes up to the border, has anyone done a circular route via Os De Civis? Any guidebooks that would be useful with my smattering of Spanish?

La Massana has 4 or 5 long xc trails and you should be able to find details on Vallnord Bike Park web site, one of them uses a lot of the Avalanche Enduro Course. You could of course cal lat the bike shop at the base of the La Massana Gondola, there is a bar there too, both the home base of one Cedric Garcia,,,,

South east of Andorra in Spain is la Molina which is a ski station that has been showered with eu grants to build a bike park….

There's "Vallnord" bikepark in Andorra itself.

Have a look at http://www.foromtb.com and do a search. (God awful website btw). It's the spanish singletrack.

One of the French mags (VTT Mag I think) did an article some time ago. I might still have it, will have a look.

They had a few rides, talked about a chair lift , a local guiding company etc.

This might be useful as well, BTT = MTB http://eng.theessenceofthepyrenees.com/home.html

Andorra is ace for downhill stuff, as is La Molina Both not too far away
