    Riding into work on friday and want a nice ride home as of road as possible. From the Holymoorside area of chesterfield out to Monsal Head
    any ideas?

    This has got to be a wind-up, nobody gets to do a commute like that. I have to battle trough traffic jams not flocks of sheep.

    Road version is 17 miles – as the crow flies its far less!

    so between 10 and 20 miles i suppose. Main option is to go over beeley moor to chatsworth, down into bakewell via manners wood and onto the monsal trail
