    Had some great Denon ones. They broke. Was in the middle of a multi-location trip and needed a replacement. These were all the airport had at the time. Am pretty happy with them overall so far.

    About two hundred and seventy at retail, IIRC.

    I ha e the senshauser linked below, £180 I recall bought a few years back. Work great on plane and have adapter for aircraft entertainment systems. I prefer them to full ear cover models but they don’t work quite as well as a result. FYI they are useful for sleeping on plane as you can turn the noise cancellation on with no music and it cuts out aircraft noise.

    I had some Bose ones as pictured above and swapped them out for the equivalent Sony ones about 2 years ago (can’t recall model number but they are over ear). They were just as good as the Bose (if not better) and cheaper.

    Better in terms of noise cencelling that is IMO. Couldn’t really comement on sound quality as I’m no audiophile but Sony’s seem good.
