    I live in the south east not the arctic, merino socks,shimano and neoprene overs keeps me dry and toasty. 😉

    They look interesting @ first glance, asI prefer winter boots that work well 1st & if the look good that’s a bonus (not often enjoyed 😀 ). Trouble is the neoprene flap doesn’t look to extend past the internal ‘boot’ collar enough to seal it to ankle well.

    Velcro has no place on a winter boot IMO.
    Get some snow in there. Let it thaw a bit. Then re-freeze. Bingo, your boots fall off…

    Velcro has no place on a winter boot IMO.

    I’ve had no issues with the velcro on my MW80’s.

    I did a meeting for Southern Water following a hostile takeover by Scottish Power. The sewage workers and inspectors were not impressed when they received their new boiler suits which fastened with velcro.
    Sewage and velcro are not a good combination.
