As above really. Household chores eating into “me time”, not that there’s much of that at the mo with 2 young kids.

I like the idea of a robot doing it for me. Think I will be safe from attack, hardly any hair and don’t sleep on the floor.

Any experience of use? Pet owners particularly- we gave a Berner and a relatively hairy cat both shedding a lot after the move to Oz.

    Cheers

2 hairy dogs (flatcoat retrievers, so the hair is quite long as well) and a Roomba here.

The brushes need clearing of dog hair pretty much every time it runs for it to work at its best but it picks the hair up better than our normal Hoover.

Despite claims to the contrary it does eat various other things (cables, kids’ socks, the tassles on the ends of some rugs), fail to get right into corners and can get stuck. But overall it’s a shit load better than hoovering.

    I’d get another.

Two spaniels and a ragdoll cat, roomba does pretty well. Needs the rollers cleaning every two weeks or so, and we use it 2-3 times a week. Means you can do the hoovering when you’re out! Not perfect but not far off :o)

We have one and no dog. Its takes a lot of TLC!

Do people find that their dogs attack it? My two spaniels eat/chew pretty much everything, but also make a mess in the kitchen and sweeping the floor three times a day gets kind of wearing after a while…
