A couple of Polish women in the their 40s are coming over for a short holiday combined with some academic research, & need somewhere decent & cheap in May. Polish salaries aren’t good, so does anyone have a spare room to let for a week? Or can you suggest an alternative?

No, the women are not bikes. Both are married.

University rooms should have accommodation in May, though they are still priced per night (i.e. £40-50 for central London). Cheap if they are willing to share an en-suite twin.
