After having had to sell my beloved A4 turbo estate (walnut dash and everything) and downgrade to a Pug 207 diesel (lady about town car) I am now in the position of having to refit my roof bars. Not sure what make they are but on the Audi I had to buy bars that went across the roof parallel with the seating arrangement and then attach the section that holds the bikes running lengthways from front to back. On the pug, I have flaps (oh er) that open to reveal a small cotton reel shape object. Manual is useless and I have no idea how to attach either of the two sections I have as both have screws and clamp attachments, nether of which appear to fix to the pug’s part.

Anybody got any ideas that might help? Searched online but no helpful posts. Please don’t say buy an Audi. Cheers
