    You can get frames 'specifically designed for Rohloff hubs' but what make them special? Can you just bolt in an Alfine hub? The possible frame is a Thorn Sterling if it makes a difference. Cheers

    rohloff need a torque arm doo-dah, alfine just have shaped bolts that you can run pretty much anywhere you can stick an axle.
