Good point about the wages Gonzy, that simply adds insult to the injury so to speak.

One of the biggest challenges any new manager will have is there are far too many Liverpool fans have one eye on the past and whilst I have no wish to dilute the importance of a clubs history – it is history and the mindset needs to be 100% about today and tomorrow.

The job requires a hard nosed outsider who has the strength to ignore all media/luvvy Shankly/Kop nonsense, insist on having 100% control on who gets bought and sold and get all the hangers on like Dagleish,Rush etc out of the system because all the whispering nonsense that goes on simply serves to undermine the managers already very difficult job.

In the final analysis there are very good reasons why Liverpool have only won one trophy in the past 10 years, pissed away a fortune in transfer fees and wages and are going backwards and that is the past and present American owners have never come to terms with how you run a successful premier club and until this lot do or they sell up this mad merry go round will continue its dizzying spin !
