Hi i have just purchased a Rockshox Reverb post and it says in the instruction to use Friction Paste.
Can anyone recommend which one is best to use.
    Thanks

I haven’t and it’s been fine, well apart from needing bleeding every third ride, blown it’s air seals three times but it sits nicely in the frame, when it’s broken…

I use the finish line stuff on my carbon bars, just put some Rock and Roll super coat on my Reverb though. I think the issue is either that the clamping forces eat up the tollerances inside the post and jam it, or they’re just overly paranoid about the post slipping.

The stuff theyre talking about is just like a gritty grease that holds things still.

Hopeing theyre more reliable than the reviews suggest as so far it’s been ace, but I’ve only ridden it up and down the road/off ketbs etc!

Mine has been working fine for a couple of months now, scratched the black part of the post in a light off so it may well start leaking.
will send it off for repair soon 😐
I put some copper slip on mine oops has not moved yet …
