Does anyone know if this fork on merlin can be adjusted to 130mm travel via an internal spacer, as my trek fuel ex came with a 130mm talas fork? Ideally I want to replace the fork with the same length travel rather than going to 140 or 150mm travel.

No, not with an internal spacer, see this earlier thread for the same reasons… http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/rockshox-reba-rl-100mm

Yes you can change the air shaft, have my 29er 140mm solo air revs at 110mm 😀

Did the change on some 120mm revs from a kona explosif. Got a 150 shaft and the whole process took me 20mins?

Can you do the air shaft swop thing with 120mm single air Rebas? The ones I have bought are just too short for a Trance X and I don’t have the cash for new forks but might stretch to buying internals if possible?

2014 models probably, older ones need to check chassis, dampers etc

Bit of thread resurrection going on here.

Question is can I take a pair of 2014 Revelation RLT 29er forks with 120mm quoted travel and up it to 130 or even 140mm, or does travel adjustment only work when decreasing, not increasing?

Would appreciate the thoughts of the collective on this.

    Thanks in advance
