    Hi all

As title really, my Revs feel pants. Thinking I might open them up and do a service (seals/oil), but does anyone have any experience as to what in particular might be causing the notchy travel and top out clunk?

Played around with rebound and air pressure, it’s not that.

    Cheers

are you losing pressure in the -ve chamber?

get a seal kit from evilhomer on ebay and an oil change should sort it 🙂

I’ve had a few sets of Revs / Pikes that have clunked at the top of their travel, and been told by TFT and Fishers that this is normal.

Not sure about the notchy travel issue, take them apart and have a look. At least think about a lower leg service and have a look at the stanchions below the seal, where you cant normally see them.

Plan is to do the seals/oil and see if that fixes them. It’s just the very first 40mm of travel that take a bit of force before they suddenly give and blow through, it just isn’t very smooth/predictable.

If not, I’ll punt them and give in to my desire for a set of Pikes!
