I have a 120mm Revelation fork, 2015 model, solo air

When it returns to full travel it gives a slight knock – any ideas what this is and how to fix it?

Apparently it’s normal. It’s a solo air thing. Mine do it. Doesn’t make it alright though.

    oh…thanks

no, definitely not alright – quite annoying on steep climbs

Suppose if it doesn;t affect performance it’ll be ok

Yep it’s bloody annoying. It’s quiet for a few miles after a service, until the grease dissipates. I was told it’s the negative air seal knocking and nothing to worry about. To be fair you don’t really hear it in normal use, only uphill as you say. Shoddy design.

If they’re new I’d take them back just in case, you might just get a free service out of it. They might just put the correct amount of lube in as they very rarely have it from the factory 😕
