    Hi.
My new Reba forks – few weeks old – have started quacking on any moderate to fast action – at end of stroke, and start of return.
Is this normal for them ? Oil squirting through damper?
Or is it something which needs looking at?
    Many thanks
    Alan

Think I read in here that rockshox oil levels are crazy low when delivered. I’d start there.

How did you pay for them? Do you have the bill?

It was foolish of me to expect any sensible answers.

Apologies for any fowl play from the STW collective.

In all seriousness my Rebas are fairly noisy, but more of a “whooshing” kind of noise in the mid stroke – they’re a few years old though

Don’t get in a flap OP. I’d waddle down to your LBS and get them to have a peck around inside the forks to look for fowl play.

Sounds like the damping is goosed.
    Bought local or mail order?
First thing I’d do is contact the retailer to ask

Probably oil flowing through the rebound circuit, although if they’re behaving strangely it’s probably worth returning them for a warranty inspection.
You will hear most forks working as you ride over rougher ground.
