I use silkolene fork oil, because it comes in pretty colours.

This is what you need – Maxima Fork Oil – afaik it’s what Rockshox use re-badged.
£7.19 for litre inc postage. 5W and 15W

Always had rapid delivery from them.
They also do a Maximan racing fork oil for a little more at £9.89 a litre

Good quality motorbike oil of any brand will do the job, I use silkolene as I have acces to it in large quanities.
As for the 15wt for the lowers I tend to mix a little 5 wt in so that it migrates around a little more the only downside is that more will show up on the upper legs but if you clean these regularly you will be fine. If you can get some slick honey put that on the bush’s for a super nice breakaway as well as the air assembly o-rings.

Another question, manual states on service intervals, every ride Lube dust seals.
Is that a case of a little oil around the dust seal lip ?
