I am considering servicing my wife’s ancient Duke forks. After years of service (and only been serviced once in that time) they are now suddenly and rapidly losing air, seemingly at random. Given their age and that they are used only on a spare/winter bike now we don’t want to spend much on them.

    So I have found this:

I have most of what I need but will need to get some Red Rum. I understand from what I’ve read eg:
    null
that Fox Float Fluid and Red Rum are essentially interchangeable?
Reason I ask is that i may want to try to clean my Fox Forks’s wipers etc at some point too and this calls for Fox Float Fluid – if I can use the Red Rum then that will help justify the costs of buying such a large volume for just one job.

Pretty sure any 15wt fork oil will do the job.

Available from you local motorbike factors.

I use Motul 15W in my Rock Shox lowers
