    Currently the RL 853 17" is out of stock, and they say it will be back in 3 months time. Should i wait for it or just buy the SL?

    Only you really know the answer. Not very helpful, but true.

    They are both the same geometry if that helps tho…

    having ridden both IMO they do feel pretty different,so as said above, depends what you want. I have the steel one and find it extremely comfortable. The alumnium one gave more feedback and a sore back for me.
