    thinking of swapping my HT and been offered a Cotic Roadrat.. can I run 29er wheels on that frame ? good idea or not ?

    No problem! It's designed for it – Cotic Roadrat. From their site:

    Add in 700c wheels because they're fast, fun and the tool of choice for covering the miles and you've got a serious speed machine that'll take you anywhere.

    You won't get 29er tyres on it though.

    29er = 700c = erto 622 so fine in terms of rim dia

    …as yer man says, not a lot of tyre clearance but I've got away with a fair bit of off-roading on cyclocross tryes on mine.

    As you know I rode it out at Wharncliffe a couple of times, it was a little testing on the DH runs…

    You will get Bonty 1.8's in fine.

    Hi James, still go yours ? The most this would be used for is odd commute to work, then towing Charriot / tag along around Ladybower etc.
