maybe I should get out more… but been contemplating……. i need some spare tubes for my 700 x 25C tyres…… tube sizes to fit 18-25, and 25-28 are available…….

So… is it better to fit a tube that at the top end of its size range or the bottom?

    pros & cons??? any??

Get the smaller ones, much easier to get them in the tyre when fitting. I use 23-28 ones in my 30c tyres, inner tubes are stretchy blow one up not in a tyre and it will get very big.

Arguably the bigger one will be a tiny bit more puncture resistant. But it’ll also be a bugger to fit and will weigh more. I use the smaller ones for everything up to 33c
