    My touring bike has road specific BB7s – ideal for a tourer. I’m considering going from the drop bars that are currently on the bike to a flat bar or more likely a butterfly bar.

    The road levers will have to go.

    Am I right in thinking I can keep the existing calipers/rotors and just change the levers to a standard pull lever : something like this?

    Yup – BMX levers might be an even more budget option
