Looking at road shoes as im road biking now. So im a 9, should I go 9 or 8.5 based on the fact that they will stretch.

    Advice please.

Well I take a size 50, so from personal experience I would recommend you get size 50.

    i take a 43 in MTB and a 44 in road.

it all depends on the shoes and you really need to try them on.

So as im a 9/43 how come that covers two sizes (the 43) 8.5 and 9. So which one is right?

The only way to choose the correct sized shoes is to try them on. HTH.

Never known road shoes to stretch. Best option is always to try before you buy. I always go a size bigger in all my shoes, but probably more due to wider feet than actual length. The only one I go even bigger is winter boots for thicker socks.
