Are there any around? I’m after some new mtb shoes and double sided pedals for my cx/commuter bike and I was wondering if anyone has seen any deals going around?

I mainly use Specialized shoes as I know they fit and are comfy.

Pedals: I’m thinking of a Shimano offering, maybe some XTs, or whatever is on offer.

cyclestore.co.uk often have specialized shoes on offer.

I am open to other brands as well but I have nothing nearby where I can try them on, so their sizing will need to be comparable to Specialized’s.
I may also go for mtb shoes instead.

Plenty of deals as Cyclestore on Specialized at the moment. Just picked up some S works with a third off

You really need to try shoes before you buy them. Road pedals are much of a muchness. I’d buy cheap Shimano# and shoes that you know already to be a good fit.
