Need new gear cables for my mate’s lad’s road bike which has old Campagnolo Chorus 9 speed.

Any road cables work or do Campagnolo do their own (non) standard?

Also what are considered best for decent long term shifting? Use Shimano sp41 on the Mtb, but road is an unknown for me.

Normal standard ones work fine. 😀

Some after market cables fit some don’t
The end is a touch smaller if I remember right
Cost is so small why not use campy ones

A lot of after-market stuff comes with both nipples fitted SRAM/Shimano one end, Campag the other and you remove the one you don’t need.
