  • Road content- Scott cr1 or addict?

    I thought I'd made my mind up but have just seen these Scotts on offer which fit my budget, addict r3 & cr1 elite.
    Which would be better? I'm looking for something to train, ride, maybe etape and maybe race? Which would be my best option? Kitwise the cr1 is better. Opinions and pics from owners would be appreciated.

    Try them both and take the one that fits the best.

    The addict will be stiff, more a race bike. Its what the pros use.
    The CR1 will be comfier, but it is still a good frame.

    Why don't you go to your LBS and try one, or alternatively write all the names of the bikes you like on separate pieces of paper, put them in a hat, then pick one out and buy it?

    Nothing like stating the obvious – however my LBS don't stock them so it isn't easy to do.
