    i want a cheap road bike for the winter and commuting on.
    gonna be doing a fair bit of roadriding in the dales over the winter, with some nice long tough climbing.
    what is best
    a nice stiff o/s alloy frame or a steel frame.
    and any recs for a cheap one of either.
