Given that these are nigh on impossible to find in a 55cm and that to my knowledge there’s no official importers either, what is there out there that is in the same ball park for cost and ride quality?

Obviously other paint options are available, including metallic battleship grey 😉

The biggest difference is the Ritchey WCS carbon fork, which I have on an alloy Defy and it is a gem (and not 1″ steerer). That fork alone would account for the difference in price.

I’m considering a Vulcan fixed wheel with custom head tube to take said Ritchey fork (which has very tight clearance and won’t really take a mudguard).
