Sooo.. I've got a 24 spoke hope pro 3 sp front wheel that's not so straight any more. I fell off the crumbly edge of a berm and came to a stop on it sideways last summer. Separated my shoulder too.. Nice!
I detentioned it and jumped up and down on it a bit, but never got it as straight as I'd like, and TBH I was never happy with it's stiffness in the first place.. It always had somewhat of a sideways spring to it on landings!
So I'm on the look out for a 24 hole replacement rim that's going to be a bit less jelly like, and hopefully fit on the same spokes.. Does anybody have any ideas? I've already found some old stock Bontrager ones on ebay, which might be a goer, and some Sun EQ21's on CRC, which are the wibbliest POS rims out there.. But are there any others? No carbon please, it's gotta be cheap!
