    Hi folks
Well at the grand old age of 40 it looks like I’m starting with arthritis in my knees, after riding for a few years now I’m just wondering what I should do? Don’t want to stop riding so do I stick with MTB or cross to the dark side? Or will I have to face the inevitable and ride less 🙁 or even hang up the shoes all together? 😡
Rode Saturday and Sunday off road this weekend and couldn’t move by Monday morning so any advice would be welcome
    Thanks

Keep riding! Just make sure you keep the creaky old knees warm from the off even if it means outrageous knee pads in appropriately worn for the XC trails! I did find that making sure my knees are always covered helped mine no end however some pads ie 661 evo were putting to much pressure on my kneecap and aggravating them so switched to some shorter race face hard guards that have no back and elasticated straps.
And uncross your legs when you are sat down!!!
