Well that’s it I’m moving up to Inverness so where are all the good riding areas, I’ll be staying in Daviot for a wee while so any help much appreciated. Are there any clubs that go night riding all year? Also riding at the weekend?
    Cheers guys

Craig Phadraig/Craig Dunain on the west side of town have some ace trails, as do culloden/balloch woods. Cairngorms are sub-30 mins from Daviot too.

    So many choices:

Learnie Red Rocks (well worth a visit, some really good trails)
    Strathpuffer
    Golspie (bit of a drive)
Laggan (bit of a drive, but the Black route is worth it)

I grew up on the black isle and mostly rode ord hill, not sure what its like these days but there used to be loads of rooty narrow singletrack to mix and match.

+1 for Golspie and Laggan ,Puffer area is good lots more there than the puffer course. Crag Dunain and up above to the mast has some good single track and DH stuff going on.
If your up at Golspie be sure to go to Balblair woods near Bonar bridge.
Ord hill was mention above its still got some good single track around but gets busy with dog walkers doggers etc!

the black at lernie red rocks is a bit interesting.

pop in to the Black isle brewery on the way back if you need rehydration.
