Hi, I fancy riding in Nepal but whether it’s on a motorbike or MTB I haven’t decided. Anyone been and got suggestions?

Not personally but i met a guy through work who went to Tibet and a bit of Medial. His blog is here:

There is a descent that lasted 75km. They tried some bits cross country and ended up on the road. They had guides to help but i recall they struggled to get visas for certain parts of Nepal.

Rode round Kathmandu’s for 2 days. Most mental thing I have ever done on a bike. Did small tour round the valley. It was fun but not the best ever.

Everyone is offering hints on bike tracks and paths and I would like to show you something else. Don’t forget it is a totally different country and when I say TOTALLY I mean it. So before you go try to take a look at sites and information about culture of Nepal and surrounding countries.

I spent three months out there last year with the Mrs. We rode quite a lot, mostly with Tangi of enduromtbnepal fame, who karnali mentions above.

Thanks for the info. Been doing some research but recommendations and advice from folk that have been is better.
