Going up to Alnwick area for a week and struggling to find any mtb routes around that bit of England.

Is there a route book or anyone out there ridden in this area with any circular route recommendations??.

I rode above Hexham once, after it being recommended on here, the route was decidedly underwhelming, but I believe the riding is a lot better the further north you go.

Then there’s other places that aren’t in that book too but mentioning Thrunton Woods on here doesn’t go down to well so I won’t.
