I’m not a million miles away, and on similar ground/geology. It’s mostly dry, with some of the chalkland perma-puddles still there. Hedgerows are bursting with life, and a bloody marvellous time to be in the country!

Fast and dry apart from occasional puddles in deeper holes. Rode much of the western end past Goring at the weekend on Horizon tyres, thats how dry. The east/Chiltern end was a bit damper under the trees.

Was wandering around the Princes Risborough bit of ridgeway yesterday and I concur with that assessment. Bit overgrown and nettly in places though.

Conditions slightly to the east are pleasant if a little muddy under the trees. nothing a knobby tyre can’t handle.
