Front wheel washed out on the sharp little bend/dip he’s just ridden I reckon.

or he’s bottomed out the fork in that same dip and fallen from there (he’s have been leant over to the left as we’re looking at the pic)

Reading the article it was an enduro, so perhaps the crash was on a transition stage and so no time was lost. Still impressive to fall of a cliff and carry on mind!
