Mate and I were discussing rides in/around the dark peak today, we fleetingly touch on the area around Hayfield when doing Jacobs ladder but never ride that area specifically.

I hear their is a lot of good stuff but no ideas, anyone send me any gpx or memory map files of rides?

Its Ok, Lantern Pike and the other one, can’t remember the name are Ok, but invariably you’ll end up combining it with part of Jacob’s. The trails around Kinder reservoir are ok.

Good for a different persepctive, but hardly ever venture over that way cos it involves driving.

Also I bleieve there’s some really tasty singletrack somewhere near Hayfield, a video has been posted of it on here years ago.
