  • Rhine cycle touring – recommendations please

    Hi all,

    Heading off for a 2 week cycle tour from Basel to Rotterdam along the Rhine in a couple of weeks – anybody out there done it? Any recommendations as to where to stay/eat etc – especially campsites as hoping to camp mostly and struggling to find much to book in advance on tinterweb? What were the highlights?

    Also, will have a few hours in Amsterdam before getting the overnight train down to Basel – what are the best things to do with limited time?!

    Keeps popping up in the CTC mag, they may have stuff on their website or recommendations for guide books

    thanks MoreCashThanDash, we have got the Cicerone guide book which we are going to be depending on! and some useful info from CTC cheers.

    Any campsites or local info anyone?
