I had a new drivechain lined up for my SS but had to borrow it for another bike when I trashed it's drivechain. So I used it for a few weeks then cleaned it, lubed it and put it away. I got it out the other day and the chain has quite a bit of rust on it and a few stiff links. It's less than 200miles old, can it be revived or do I chuck it?

Stick it in diesel overnight, than vaseline and high temperature to follow.

I'd have thought so, certainly worth a go.

Just cover it in WD40 / Plus Gas / DERV, ride it a bit, strip the whatever off and relube. The rusty wears away pretty quickly.
