Having a few kinking and action issues with my non-stealth number.
Fitted to a BFe which doesn’t have sufficient hose mounts, so it is loosely zip tied in parallel with the brake hose. The issue is currently when dropped the hose is kinking at the point at which it joins the seatpost. Once dropped, the kinked hose is preventing the seat being popped back up. So my question to STW is- does any one have any suggestions on how to route the hose, or how to prevent the hose kinking at this point?

move the rear cable tie further forward so that more cable moves.

    Never seen one kinked tbh

If I move the last zip tie I will have more then 10 inches of slack, uncontrolled cable around my knees and rear wheel?
In the workshop it moves fine, take it out on the trail and it seems less inclined to slide through the clips which is frustrating.

are you using the hose guide that came with the seatpost?

If the hose is kinked it is already damaged and should be replaced.

It also sounds as though you hose is maybe too long? Some pictures would help.

Yeah, I’ve just bought a bleed kit to allow me to remove the damaged bit.
I’ll try and grab some photos, I have got the supplied routing clip in use as suggested.
Is there anyway I can go about stiffening the hose to stop it kinking at that point again?
