I would say it’s worth the extra £25 for a warranty. I had to use the warranty on mine. Was from Hibike.de. no problems. really good company.

I’ve been using one on my other bike for the last 15 months and had 2 warranty replacements – therefore a full warranty is worth a lot more than £25….
