Very retro but that was the worst keyboard in the history of IT.

Great in a retro way, but as an input device totally useless!

pffft, the speccie keyboard was far superior to the ZX81!

I know a bluetooth version of that casio watch that you could type on?

I’ve still got a 48k Spectrum, can’t remember the last time I used it.

At least the screen didn’t blink when you pressed a key on the ZX81. Unlike the ZX80 which couldn’t multitask. I liked the Oric-1’s keyboard. Each key was like a Wrigley’s Extra with an extra big one for the space bar.

Could be extremely good – touchscreens just doesn’t work well for most spectrum games from the archive. You need the rubber keys to really get monty mole moving.

I’m halfway through building a spectrum again using a spectrum +2 case/keyboard but with a Raspberry Pi and emulator inside. Don’t ask why it’s completely pointless but at least it will connect to a modern TV and not require the hours and hours of tape recorder hell.

Oh, a friend of mine has just offered me a mint Apple ii with dual drives, monitors and manual if I want it…..
