MY little boy has almost grown out of his Rothan and is very excited about getting a big boy bike with pedals for Christmas. My little girl will be 2 next summer and she'll get the Rothan.

It's been fairly battered so we are wondering about getting it resprayed (maybe in a girly colour) so it's new for her and he won't get too upset about his old bike being used by his sister.

Any ideas who might do a good job?

And does anyone have any views to how a resprayed Rothan would hold up in the second hand market compared to a tatty original coloured one?

Amongst those in the know? I doubt there would be a difference provided the respray was good.

But the general public? – well if it don't say Rothan on it it can't be a Rothan, and they never made on in that colour mate… even if the geometry, spec and receipt check out.

It would sell on here in no time for a decent amount I reckon.

Shall be getting ours done in readiness for #2 having it in January.
