Ok, snapped my spoke at the weekend, where the nipple joins the rim.

I've removed the tyre and tube to get access to the remaing nipple, but there's rim tape in the way. Anyway to remove it, and still use it afterwards or just rip it out and replace?

The spoke wont come out of the hub due to part of the nipple still being attached. Do i just have to cut it off.

As for replacing it, do i just need to buy a new spoke and nipple. Tread the spoke through the hub, and the nipple through the hub, and then tighten the nipple up and true the wheel as normal

unpeel tape. Unscrew/break off piece of nipple attached to spoke.

If the spoke is unbroken (sounds like only the nipple went) then it will be fine.
