Evening all, I have sky multiroom however the box in the bedroom is about 5 years old, and I have just been given a sky+ box, (already have one downstairs) so I’m wondering can I replace the one on the bedroom with the sky+ box I have been given, not overly concerned about the + feature just thinking that a new box would be nice to replace the aged one that is already in d would my sky viewing card work okay

    Cheers in advance all

Will have to call up sky to get the card paired to the box so you get all your subscription channels, also whilst your on ask them to add on the recording sub’s too.

I assume the existing box is just a regular box so will only have a single cable feed to it.
You can still connect the Sky+ box but bear in mind you will only be able to record a single programming at a time and won’t be able to view a different channel/ program whilst recording.

If you’ve already been given it, why don’t you plug it in and see what happens?
