Hi Everyone! I’ve got a Scott Spark 50 2012 model that I’m just stripping down and replacing the bearings on the linkages etc.

I’ve got the forks off and the headset has taken a battering and is of the old style cup and bearings type. I’m thinking it’s probably worth replacing the headset to a sealed bearing type, but wondering what type I will be needing? The frame is tapered, but with a reducer for the bottom race as the forks are standard size.

Do I need a zero stack 1 1/8″? Bit confusing with all the types now out there! Also what brands are reccomended? Nothing to expensive though! Cheers
