It’s 6 now so I’m thinking about a new shiny. What’s the likely replacement cost, mine’s mostly XT bit of XTR and revs. I’m thinking 3.5k for something comparable but with all the latest innovations like 650b wheels, tapered steerer, 1×11, slack angles, tubeless, clutch mech, stealth dropper, 15mm axle 34 sanctioned forks, lairy paintjob and a partridge in a pear tree. I think that’s all the things my bikes supposed to have now or am I missing owt?

    Any suggestions?

I went form a 2006/7 Blur LT to a 2011 Zesty a few years back. It was the best thing I did. Although I admit I was sad to see the Blur go. The Zesty was heavier and with cheaper parts / wheels but the geometry made it a whole lot more fun and it cost me less than £1500.

Much more choice out here now, I’d be looking at a Carbon 650b, Bronson would be a good place to start me thinks.
