    Is it possible to get scratches out of polycarbonate lenses? Either DIY or at an optitians? Any advice appreciated, ta.

    It depends whether you are talking about swirly type scratches or proper garks. Garks (gouge/mark) are hopeless, but if you have swirls from poor cleaning etc, then there is a product called Plexus that is great. I have used it with excellent results on polycarb and arcrylic windows (racecars). It is a aerosol type, nonabrasive. Apparently it is a “microfiller”, so it doesn’t remove the scratch as such, but fills it. It also has excellent antistatic and antifog qualities. It is not however permanent, the scratches will reappear after a while, and you will need to reapply.
