Just got some M Part 1.5 inch carbon spacers. Nice apart from the white lettering spoiling the look of things. I would prefer just plain carbon. Anybody had any luck removing the white writing? I tried the usual suspects (surgical alcohol and nail polish remover) but no effect. The writing is outside the clear lacquer but I just can't rub it off.

I removed some similar writing recently with a quick wipe of Nitromorse (sic) and then straight into water to wash it off.

Worked a treat for me and didn't harm the lacquer

Car polish shouldn't be too aggressive on the laquer.

yup, T cut or similar. Or even, toothpaste (although, it may take some time…)

    any mild abrasive is fine.

Perfect, thanks chaps! T Cut and a bit elbow grease did the trick! Much more pleasing on the eye now.

I have the same spacers and the same problem, but I just used a black marker and inked over the white text. Not perfect but it does the job unless you look closely.
