I've been running the hub for about 6 months and it's the first time I've tried to remove the rotor body to service the freehub. The spacer inside is tight and not coming off. Hope's site recommends a large flat blade screwdriver, but I don't know how to get purchase on it using one.

Their how-to video shows it popping off easily in a vice, but tried that and it's not budging. Any tips? Ta.

Pull it off with pliers or mole grips, may score the spacer a bit but it works for me.

Thanks martp, tried both mole grips and pliers, but it just won't budge.
